' A RESOLUTION BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, REQUESTING THE UNITED STATES
POST OFFICE DEPARTMENT TO ESTABLISH A BRANCH POST OFFICE FACILITY IN
THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH.

' WHEREAS, the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida has
experienced the greatest growth of any municipality in Palm Beach County
in the past four years; and
• WHEREAS, the Village of North Palm Beach has received national
awards as a model community and has set a pattern for community planning
which has been followed by many other communities;-and
WHEREAS, there is no Post Office facility within the Village
to service the needs of its more than 5,200 residents; and
WHEREAS, the continued population growth of the Village and
the increase of business firms locating within the Village emphasize the
need; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of a Post Office branch facility
within the Village is necessary to service the needs of its citizens and
business firms;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the Village
of North Palm Beach does hereby request the United States Post Office
Department to establish a branch postal facility within the Village of North
Palm Beach in order to better service this area and provide vitally needed
facilities for the citizens and business firms located in the area.
