1961-104 Declaring Results of General Election Held March 21, 1961 RESOLUTION NO. 104 A RESOLUTION OF T'rTE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF T'_riE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON MARCH 21, 1961. ~ ~ -~ aF WHEREAS, on the 21st day of March, 1961, there was held in the Village of North Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Flarida, a general election for the purpase of electing councilmen to the Village Council for Groups 2 and 4; and WHEREAS, by due resolution, the £o1lo~nring named persons were appointed inspectors and clerk of said election, to-wit: Aa1ph J. Cohn., Cathryn L. Mitchell, Sylvester Zerniko, Inspectors: and Leata F. Cloyed, Clerk; and WHEREAS, on March 21, 1961 said Inspectors and Clerk, after taking and subscribing their oath in accordance with the law, made their returns to the Village Council, which returns certified that the fallovaing is the result of said general election, to-wit: Total Machine Vote ................ 278 Total Absentee Vote ............... 4 Tatal Village Vote ................ 282 For Village Councilman. Group 2: Walter E. Thomas, Received 205 votes. Shinn, received 1 vote. Schinn, received 1 vote. Thomas shinn, received 2 votes. T. B. Shinn, received 1 vote. Tom. Shinn, received 2 votes. T. Shinn, received 1 vote. Robert Scott, received 1 vote. R. Scott, received 1 vote. ' Robert Bergen, received 1 vote. Vinoe Adams, received 2 votes. For Councilman, Group 4: Charles M. Bowman, received 191 votes. Tom Shinn, received 30 votes. T. B. Shinn, received 1 vote. Mr. Shinn, received 2 votes. Thomas Shinn, received 2 votes. T. Shinn, received 2 votes. ' Tom Neal., received 1 vote. and WHEREAS, the Village Council has duly canvassed the returns of said general election and finds that the returns of the Inspectors and Clerk of said ' election are true and correct tabulations o£ the votes cast; now, therefore, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE CO~Ji~ICIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the Village Council finds and declares. that the following is the result of said general election, to-wit: For Village Councilman. Group 2: Walter E. Thomas, received 205 votes. Shinn, received 1 vote. Schinn, received 1 vote. Thomas Shinn, received 2 votes. T. B. Shinn, received 1 vote. Tom Shinn, rece-ivied 2 rotes. T. Shinn, received 1 vote. Robert Scott, received 1 vote.
