adopted May 10, 1960, the Village entered into a certain lease with North
Palm Beach Utilities, Inc., dated May 10, 1960, for certain lands, therein
described, to be used by the 'Village for park, playground and recreational
.
purposes; and
WHEREAS, on a part of such lands known generally as the Village
Boat Area, the Village has installed certain facilities including boat docks
and electric boat hoisting equipment; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to prescribe rates that will be charged
for such facilities, and the rules and regulations that will govern the
operation of such Boat Area and its appurtenant facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE
COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Resolution No. 82, adopted by the Village of North
Palm Beach on June 14, 1960, is hereby repealed.
Section 2. The following rates or charges are hereby prescribed
for .the use of the aforesaid Village Boat Area, and the use of the aforesaid
electric boat hoist: The dockage charge shall be $75.00 per boat, per-year,
payable semi-annually at $37.:0 in advance, with a minimum rental of $37.50,
even though the dockage facility be used for a lesser period than one-half
year. The charges for the use by any person of the electric boat hoist
facilities shall be $10.00 a year, payable semi-annually at $5.00 in advance,
with a minimum use fee of $5.00 even though such use be for a lesser period
than one-half year.
' Section 3. The Village Manager is Y}ereby authorized and directed
to establish rules and regulations for efficient operation of the Village
Boat Area.
