A RESOLUTION BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF .THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, REQUESTING TH:E FEDERAL HOME LOAN BANK BOARD TO GRANT AUTHORITY
TO ESTABLISH A BRANCH OF THE COMMUNITY FEDERAL SAVINGS AND ROAN ASSOCIATION
IN THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH.

WHEREAS, the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, and its imme-
diate vicinity, has experienced the greatest growth of any municipality in
the Palm Beach County area in the last few years; and
WHEREAS, the Village of North Palm Beach is a model community of
which many other communities have been patterned after and that it has re-
ceived many awards as a model community; and
WHEREAS, the Community Federal Savings and Loan Association has
been very instrumental in the growth of the North Palm Beach, Lake Park and
vicinity area through mortgage financing and storing of savings, thereby
assisting tremendously in the growth of this area and making home ownership
possible for many families in the area; and
WHEREAS, ~n application to establish a branch of the Community

Federal Savings and Loan Association in the Village of North Palm Beach
has been made to the Federal Home Loan Bank Board in order to better service
the members of the association residing in that area; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of a branch in said area, in our .opinion,
would greatly assist the growth of this area and further home ownership in
this model community; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of a branch of the Community Federal
Savings and Loan Association uvould allow the Association to service the
area and to create a much more convenient location for the people in this area:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 7:T RESOLVED that the Councilmen of the Village
of North Palm Beach do hereby request the Federal Home Loan Bank Board to
grant authority to establish ai branch of the Community Federal Savings and
Loan Association in the Village of North Palm Beach in order to better service
this area and to create a more convenient location for the persons living in
this area to transact their business through the savings and loan industry,
and that we are of the opinion. that the residents in this area will use= said
facility to its utmost if said. Board sees fit to grant same.
