1960-86 Construction of Bulkhead - NPB Boat Area
RESOLUTION NO. 86
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
CONCRETE BULKHEAD IN THE AREA KNOWN AS THE NORTH PALM BEACH BOAT
AREA, AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE TREASURER TO MAKE
PAYMENT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the area known as the North Palm Beach Boat
Area is in need of a concrete bulkhead; and
WHEREAS, construction of such bulkhead has been found
to be essential to the. safety and welfare of that area; and
WHEREAS, bids have been submitted by various
contractors, and it has been determined, in the best interest of
the Village, to accept the lowest bid of the Latham Construction
Company of Riviera Beach, Florida.
BE IT, AND IT IS HEREBY, RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE
COUNCIL. OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Manager is authorized to con-
summate the construction of a concrete bulkhead in the area known
as the North Palm Beach Boat Area, to be built by the Latham
Construction Company of Riviera Beach, Florida, under the terms
of a bid heretofore submitted, construction of which has hereto-
fore been completed according to the statement attached hereto.
Section 2. The Village Treasurer is authorized to pay
the bill for such construction, amounting to $5,500.00.
Section 3. That any action taken by the Village
Manager prior to the effective date hereof is hereby ratified and
confirmed in all respects.
