A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, COMMENDING AND EXTENDING THE APPRECIATION OF THE
VILLAGE TO HERBERT A. ROSS, RICHARD E. ROSS, JAY H. WHITE, JOHN A.
SCHWENCKE AND CHARLES A. CUNNINGHAM FOR SERVICES RENDERED TO THE
COMMUNITY.
WHEREAS, at the establishment and inception of the Village

of North Palm Beach, Messrs. Herbert A. Ross, Richard E. Ross, Jay H.
White, John A. Schwencke and Charles A. Cunningham were appointed and
designated as the official Village Council and haye,sinc.e served in
such capacity and various other official capacities in the Village
government; and,
WHEREAS, all of these gentlemen have given much of their
considerable talents and many Tong hours of effort to the welfare and __
betterment of this community without compensation; and,
WHEREAS, each of these gentlemen has now chosen to retire from
the Village government after having rendered exemplary service in the
difficult years of organizing and establishing the community's government;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE
COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Village Council, on behalf of itself and
of the citizens and residents of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida,
does hereby publicly express and extend to Messrs. Herbert A. Ross, Richard
E. Ross, Jay H. White, John A. Schwencke and Charles A. Cunningham their
sincere thanks and appreciation for their services over the past years
to the welfare and progress of the Village of North Palm Beach and, most
particularly, for their splendid work in organizing and establishing the
Village government.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk be and he is hereby directed
to spread a copy o£ this resolution upon the minutes of the Village Council
and to forward a certified copy of this resolution to each of the aforesaid
gentlemen.
