Mayor Aubrey called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All members of Council were present.
All members of staff were present, except the Village Attorney.
RESOLUTION 2017-66 ADOPTED — DECLARING A LOCAL STATE OF EMERGENCY
Councilmember Norris moved that Resolution 2017-66 entitled
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, DECLARING A LOCAL STATE OF EMERGENCY WITHIN THE VILLAGE;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
be adopted. President Pro Tem Mullinix seconded the motion.
Mr. Lukasik described the emergency preparation measures undertaken by Village employees.
Mr. Lukasik gave a status report on the recent refuse collection equipment failures and reviewed
timelines for collection of garbage and vegetative debris.
Thereafter, the motion to adopt Resolution 2017-66 passed unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 7:09 p.m.
