A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING PAYMENT TO
PRECISION LANDSCAPE COMPANY OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, INC.
FOR REPLACEMENT OF DAMAGED MEDIAN LANDSCAPING WITHIN
THE U.S. HIGHWAY ONE MEDIAN; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Administration utilized the services of Precision Landscape Company of
Palm Beach County, Inc. ("Precision Landscape") to replace U.S. Highway One median
landscaping damaged in a vehicular accident; and
WHEREAS, while Precision Landscape has already performed the work and the Village will be
reimbursed through insurance, all purchases in excess of $10,000.00 require Village Council
approval; and
WHEREAS, the Village has an existing landscape maintenance contract with Precision Landscape
and Village Administration has historically recommended purchasing the landscape materials
from the same entity that is performing the maintenance as a sole source -type purchase; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council approves this purchase notwithstanding any purchasing policies
and procedures to the contrary and determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves payment to Precision Landscape Company of
Palm Beach County, Inc. for the replacement of damaged landscaping within the U.S. Highway One
median at a cost of $11,319.50, with funds expended from Account No. A7321-33491
(Streets and Grounds Maintenance — Contractual Services).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
