OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 1999

Joseph A. Tringali, Vice Mayor
ROLL CALL
President Pro Tem Vastola called the meeting to order at 1:40 p.m. All members of Council
were present except Mayor Eissey and Vice Mayor Tringali. All members of staff were preserit
except Village Attorney George Baldwin.
The purpose of the Special Session was to declare a state of emergency for the Village of North
Palm Beach prior to the expected arrival of hurricane Floyd.
RESOLUTION 53-99 ADOPTED - DECLARING A STATE OF LOCAL EMERGENCY
Council O'Meilia moved that Resolution 53-99 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, DECLARING A STATE OF LOCAL EMERGENCY
Be adopted. Councilman Norris seconded the motion, and all present voted aye.
Village Manager Dennis Kelly updated the Council with emergency preparedness procedures
that had been put in place Village-wide.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 2:05 p.m.
