01-09-1997 VC PH3-M• MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, JANUARY 9, 1997 Present: V. A. Marks, M. D., Mayor Tom Valente, Vice Mayor Larry Kelley, President Pro Tem Gail Vastola, Councilman Charles O'Meilia, Councilman Dennis W. Kelly, Village Manager George W. Baldwin, Village Attorney Kathleen F. Kelly, Village Clerk ROLL CALL Mayor Marks called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. All members Council were present. All members of staff were present. PURPOSE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING The purpose of the Public Hearing was to hear comments from the Public concerning Bill 840, a proposed ordinance amending Subsection L(1) ofi Section 45-36, General Provisions, of Article III of Zoning Code, which changes the distance requirements between gasoline or oil filling stations or service stations. COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC Thomas J. Baird, Esquire, 1841 Ascot Road, representing Dennis Koehler, Esquire, on behalf of MSS Petroleum, Inc. and Martin Steinhardt, requested that his previous remarks, as well as the remarks of James Exline, made at the two earlier Public Hearings of January 9, 1997 be incorporated into the record for this Public Hearing.
