VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
FEBRUARY 16, 2017
Present: David B. Norris, Mayor
Doug Bush, Vice Mayor

Absent: Samia Janjua, Interim Village Manager
ROLL CALL
Mayor Norris called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. All members of Council were present. All
members of staff were present, except Interim Village Manager Samia Janjua.
Discussion took place concerning a proposed resolution appointing Andrew Lukasik as Village Manager
and approving an Employment Agreement setting forth the terms and conditions of his employment.
Mr. Rubin summarized agreement and presented two options regarding salary and additional benefits.
A motion was made by Councilmember Gebbia and seconded by Councilmember Mullinix to approve
the agreement with salary option 1. Thereafter, the motion passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Vice Mayor Bush and seconded by President Pro Tem Aubrey to adopt
Resolution 2017 -15 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, APPOINTING ANDREW D. LUKASIK TO SERVE AS VILLAGE MANAGER AND
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT SETTING FORTH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIS
EMPLOYMENT; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO EXECUTE THE
EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Thereafter, the motion to adopt Resolution 2017 -15 passed unanimously.
With no further business to come before the Council, Mayor Norris adjourned the meeting at 5:15 p.m.
