A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A
PORTABLE SHOWER TRAILER FOR POOL OPERATIONS AT THE
NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB FROM KUNTRY KUSTOM RV, LLC
D /B /A RICH SPECIALTY TRAILERS AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE
MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS; WAIVING THE
COMPETITIVE BIDDING REQUIREMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Administration is seeking Council approval of the purchase of a four - station
shower trailer from Kuntry Kustom RV, LLC d/b /a Rich Specialty Trailers for pool operations
during the construction of the new clubhouse at the North Palm Beach Country Club; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration successfully obtained written quotes from five companies and
has requested a waiver of the competitive bidding requirement because of time constraints and based
on its belief that formal competitive procurement will not result in a cost savings to the Village; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the approval of the purchase of the shower trailer
and the waiver of the competitive bidding requirement are in the best interests of the residents and
citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of a four - station shower trailer
from Kuntry Kustom RV, LLC d/b /a Rich Specialty Trailers for pool operations during the
construction of the new clubhouse at the North Palm Beach Country Club at a total cost not to exceed
$31,000, with funds expended from Account No. A5540 -66210 (Reserve Expense — Construction
and Major Renovation). The Village Council further authorizes the Village Manager to execute
all documents necessary to effectuate this purchase.
Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
