Absent: Sarnia Janjua, Interim Village Manager
ROLL CALL
Mayor Norris called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. All members of Council were present, except
Vice Mayor Bush, who arrived at 10:05 a.m. All members of staff were present, except Interim
Village Manager Sarnia Janjua.
Mayor Norris explained the purpose of the meeting was to afford the public an opportunity to meet
and ask questions of the candidates for the position of Village Manager. Mayor Norris advised that
the Village Council would hold a Special Session on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in order to select the
Village Manager.
Mr. Rubin gave a brief procedural review.
The candidates for the position of Village Manager, Caryn Gardner -Young and Andrew Lukasik,
were present for separate interviews with the public.
Mayor Norris left the meeting at 11:25 a.m.
With no further business to come before the Council, Vice Mayor Bush adjourned the meeting at 12:10 p.m.
