VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD THURSDAY, JANUARY 25, 1996

ROLL CALL
Mayor Valente called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. All members of Council were
present. All members of staff were present except Village Attorney George Baldwin.
PURPOSE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING
The purpose of the Public Hearing was to hear comments from the Public concerning Bill
807, a proposed ordinance of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, adopting a small
scale amendment designated as 96-1 to the Comprehensive Plan for the Village of North
Palm Beach, Florida, in accordance with the Local Government Comprehensive Planning
and Land Development Regulation Act, as amended, being Sections 163.3161 Et. Seq.,
Florida Statutes, which amendment is attached as Exhibit "A".
COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC
Manny Grinn, 536 Greenway Drive, asked if this amendment will establish a new land use
called "Educational". Public Services Director Tom Hogarth explained that the
"Educational" land use has always been available, but the Village has not used it for
school properties in the past.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further comments from the public, the meeting adjourned at 7:16 p.m.
