A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF NEW
VILLAGE STREET SIGNS FROM NATIONAL TRAFFIC SIGNS, INCORPORATED;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village issued a Request for Proposals for Street Sign Blade Sheeting Material
Replacement; and
WHEREAS, the Village received two proposals; however, neither proposal met all of the
specifications, terms and conditions set forth in the RFP which required that the old signage be
stripped off the blade and replaced with reflective signage; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration recommended accepting the proposal from National Traffic
Signs, Inc. for the purchase of two single -sided reflective signs that could be bolted to the
original blades (excluding installation); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of a total of 429 sets of single -
sided reflective signs from National Traffic Signs, Incorporated at a cost of $29,026.14, with
funds expended from Account No. A7321 -34692 (Streets & Grounds — Street Signs).
Section 3.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
