2017-04 Correction to Sanitation Dumpster Contract ResolutionRESOLUTION 2017 -04
( A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING RESOLUTION 2017 -03 TO
REFERENCE THE CORRECT CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF
SANITATION COLLECTION DUMPSTERS PURSUANT TO AN EXISTING
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH CONTRACT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Resolution No. 2017 -03 on January 12, 2017, the Village
Council approved the purchase of 52 front -load sanitation collection dumpsters and 29 front -load
sanitation compaction dumpsters; and
WHEREAS, the Village purchased the collection dumpsters from Iron Container, LLC utilizing
pricing established in an existing contract with the City of Boynton Beach; and
WHEREAS, the Resolution incorrectly identified the Contract Number and the Village Council
wishes to amend Resolution 2017 -03 to reference the correct Contract Number.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby amends Resolution No. 2017 -03 to correct the
reference to the City of Boynton Beach Contract as set forth in the second "whereas" clause and
Section 2 of the Resolution. The Village is purchasing 52 front -load sanitation collection
dumpsters, manufactured to Village specifications, from Iron Container, LLC utilizing pricing
established by City of Boynton Beach Contract No. 059- 2510- 15 /JMA — Annual Supply of Metal
Containers and Roll Offs.
Section 3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
All remaining portions of Resolution 2017 -03 shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
