A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPOINTING A RESIDENT MEMBER
TO THE GENERAL EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT BOARD; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 2- 151(a) of the Village Code of Ordinances provides that two members of
the General Employees Retirement Board ( "Board ") shall be Village residents selected by the
Village Council; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to appoint one new resident member of the Board to
serve an extended two -year term in accordance with Ordinance No. 2017 -02.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing "whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The following person is hereby appointed as a resident member of the Village's
General Employees Retirement Board to serve for a term commencing January 12, 2017 and
expiring April 30, 2019.
