A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING TWO ADDITIONAL CHANGE
ORDERS TO AN EXISTING CONTRACT WITH CLASSIC FENCE CO., INC.;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Resolution 2015 -84, the Village Council approved a
Contract with Classic Fence Co., Inc. for the installation of fencing at the Osborne Park and
Community Center athletic fields; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration has already approved three changes orders totaling
$5,338.68 and seeks approval of two additional change orders in the amount of $8,012.64
(bringing the total amount of change orders to $13,351.52) for the modification and completion
of the fencing at the dugouts at Osborne Park; and
WHEREAS, the Village's Purchasing Regulations require that that all change orders in excess of
$10,000 be brought the Village Council for approval; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves two additional change orders
(Change Orders 4 and 5) to an existing Contract with Classic Fence Co., Inc. in the amount of
$8,012.64 (for a total change order amount of $13,351.32), with funds expended from Account
No. K8028 -66210 (Recreation — Construction & Major Renovation).
Section 3. All resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
