MINUTES OF SPECIAL SESSION
OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 25, 1993

ROLL CALL
Mayor Marks called the Special session to order at 5:30 p.m. All
members of Council were present. All members of staff were present
except Village Attorney George Baldwin. Charles O'Meilia, Director
of Public Services, was also present.
PURPOSE OF THE MEETING
The purpose of the Special Session was to direct Village Manager
Dennis Kelly regarding his participation in the North County
Planning Forum scheduled to begin on August 26, 1993.
The Council directed Mr. Ke11y to present their views on various
items that would impact the Village of North Palm Beach, as
follows:
Parker Bridge
Redevelopment, and its impact
Traffic
Transportation system
Implications of self-contained
metro-type government)
Preservation
on North Palm Beach
neighborhoods (high density;
Support of Village position regarding Little Munyon Island
Opposition to the establishment of a permanent planning
council
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
