ROLL CALL
Mayor Pierman called the Public Hearing to order at 7:17 p.m. All
members of Council were present. All members of staff were
present.
PURPOSE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The purpose of the Public Hearing was to hear comments from the
' Public concerning Bills 692 and 693, proposed ordinances adopting
Amendment 92-1 and 92-2 respectively, to the Comprehensive Plan for
the Village of North Palm Beach in accordance with the Local
Government Planning and Land Development Act, as amended, being
sections 163.3161 et. seq., Florida Statutes; attaching as Exhibit
"A" a copy of the amendments; providing a conflicts clause, a
severability clause and an effective date; and for other purposes.
There were no comments from the Public concerning Bill 692,
adopting Amendment 92-1.
Manny Grinn, 536 Greenway Drive, North Palm Beach, addressed the
Council concerning Bill 693.
The Public Hearing recessed at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of opening
the Regular Session, and reconvened at 7:50 p.m.
Mr. Grinn requested that the Comprehensive Plan be amended to place
Little Munyon Island in the urban service area, and that the land
use and zoning be changed to Commercial.
There being no further comments from the Public, the meeting
adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
