ROLL CALL
Mayor Marks called the Special Meeting to order at 5:00 P.M. All
members of the Council were present except Councilman Al Moore, who
was recovering from surgery. All members of Staff were present
except Kathleen Kelly, Village Clerk, who was attending a seminar.
BILL NO. 638 ADOPTED AS ORDINANCE 2-91
Motion was made by President Pro Tem Pierman that Bill No. 638
entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THS VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING TO THE VILLAGE CERTAIN AREAS OF PROPERTY; PROVIDING
A LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY PROPOSED TO BE ANNE}LED;
REDEFINING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE VILLAGE TO INCLUDE SAID
PROPERTY; CALLING FOR A REFERENDUM ELECTION IN THE VILLAGE AND
WITHIN THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ANNEBSD; DIRECTING THE VILLAGE
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF THS REFERENDUM; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
be placed on second reading and read by title alone. The motion
was seconded by Vice Mayor Gardner and passed 4-0.
President Pro Tem Pierman moved that Bill No. 638 be adopted as
Ordinance No. 2-91. The motion was seconded by Councilman Grinn
and passed 4-0.
There being no further business to conduct, the meeting adjourned
at 5:12 p.m
