09-13-1990 VC PH-MMINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 1990 Present: V. A. Marks, M.D., Mayor Jerry G. Gardner, Vice Mayor ' Judy M. Pierman, President Pro Tem Manny Grinn, councilman Al Moore, Councilman Dennis W. Kelly, Village Manager Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk Absent: George W. Baldwin, Village Attorney Mayor Marks called the Public Hearing to order at 7:00 p.m. All members of the Council were present. All members of the staff were present except the village Attorney The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear the comments of the public concerning the proposed 1990-91 operating budget, including the North Palm Beach Country Club. There was no legal notice of this Public Hearing published. The TRIM (Truth in Millage) bill stipulated that the Palm Beach County Tax Assessor send out a Notice of Proposed Property Taxes to every owner of real property in the County. Therefore, it was not necessary for the Village to publish legal notice of this Public Hearing in the newspaper. The Mayor asked for comments from the public on the proposed budget. Marilyn Tiedemann, 716 Pelican Way, asked that the Council appropriate money in the 1990-91 budget for a school crossing guard at Alamanda and Prosperity Farms Road.
