11-09-1989 VC PH2-MMINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 1989 Present: Judy M. Pierman, Mayor Jerry G. Gardner, Vice Mayor ' V. A. Marks, M.D., President Pro Tem Al Moore, Councilman Tom Valente, Councilman Dennis W. Kelly, Village Manager Phillip C. Gildan, Village Attorney Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk ROT.T. CAT.T. Mayor Pierman called the Public Hearing to order at 7:15 p.m. All members of the Council and the staff were present. PURPOSS OF PUBLIC HEARING The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear the public concerning changing the zoning of 13.66 acres more or less from Palm Beach County Zoning Classification IL, Industrial, and RS, Residential, to C-1, Neighborhood Commercial, of the property lying generally north of Monet Road and immediately west of the Intracoastal Waterway. LEGAL NOTICE ' Legal notice of this Public Hearing was published in the Palm Beach Post on October 25, 1989 and November 3, 1989. COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC Mr. Immanuel Grinn, 536 Greenway Drive, asked if this zoning was more restrictive or less restrictive than in the County; also if restaurants were allowable in the County. Mr. Grinn's questions were answered by the Village staff. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Council, the Public Hearing was adjourned at 7:21 p.m.
