Mayor Mundt called the Regular Session to order at 7:35 p.m. All ROLL CALL
members of the Council and the staff were present.
Vice Mayor Piemian gave the invocation and President Pro Tem INVOCATION &
Valente led the Council and the public in the Pledge of PLEDGE OF
Allegiance to the Flag. ALLEGIANCE
The Minutes of Regular Session held Thursday, May 26, 1988 were APPROVAL OF

President Pro Tem Valente moved that Bill No. 542 entitled: BILL 542
PLACED ON
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, FIRST
REZONING A 11.88 ACRE TRACT LOCATED ON U. S. HIGHWAY #1 IN READING
THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH FR~I ZONING DISTRICT R-1 TO
ZONING DISTRICT C-1 NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL
be placed on first reading and read by title alone. The motion
was seconded by Councilman Marks and passed unanimously.
President Pro Tem Valente moved that we not approve Bill No. 543 BILL 543
entitled: NOT APPROVED
BY COUNCIL
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB BUDGET FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1987-88
The motion was seconded by Councilman Marks and passed
unanimously.
President Pro Tem Valente nominated Paul Moore as Chairman of P. MOORE NCMIN-
' the Pension Board for Fire and Police Ehiployees. The nomination ATED CHAIRMAN
was seconded by Councilman Marks and passed unanimously. OF POLICE/FIRE

President Pro Tem Valente moved that Resolution No. 19-88 RES. 19-88
entitled: ADOPTED
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, APPOINTING A CHAIRMAN TO THE PENSION BOARD FOR
FIRE AND POLICE EMPLOYEES OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTfi PALM
BEACH

be adopted. The motion was seconded by Councilman Marks and
passed unanimously.
Councilman Marks moved to extend Gee & Jenson's contract for GEE &
engineering services until July, 1988. The motion was seconded JENSON'S
' by President Pro Tem Valente and passed 4-1, with Vice Mayor CONTRACT
Pierman voting nay. EXTENDED
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 8:22 p.m.
