VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

THURSDAY, JULY 14, 1988

Absent: V. A. Marks, M.D., Councilman
Mayor Mundt called the Regular Session to order at 7:32 p.m. All
members of the Council were present except Councilman Marks who
was out of town. All members of the staff were present.
Councilman Gardner gave the invocation and Vice Mayor Pierman led
the Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to the
Flag.
The Minutes of Regular Session held Thursday, June 23, 1988 were
approved as written.
The following minutes were accepted as written:

The following Minutes were accepted as corrected:

Advisory Board held May 17, 1988
Concerning the motion contained in the Country Club `Advisory
Board's minutes of June 21, 1988 regarding the number of
tournaments to be allowed, Vice Mayor Pierman moved that we do
address the number of tournaments to be allowed at the Club each
year. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gardner. During the
discussion, Councilman Gardner withdrew his second and Vice Mayor
' Pierman withdrew her motion.
Vice Mayor Pierman moved that we accept the recommendation of the
Country Club Advisory Board that the Club Achninistrator be given
the authority to issue handicap flags and privileges as evidenced
by osteopathic or medical doctor certificates of medical needs.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Gardner and passed
unanimously.

President Pro Tem Valente moved that Bill No. 544 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE NORTH PALM BEACH GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1987-88 BY APPROPRIATION TRANSFER FROM THE COUNCIL
CONTINGENCY FOR THE BONUS TD VILLAGE MANAGER
be placed on second reading and read by title alone. The motion
was seconded by Vice Mayor Pierman and passed unanimously.
President Pro Tem Valente moved that Bill No. 544 be adopted as
Ordinance No. 19-88. The motion was seconded by Vice Mayor
Piezman and passed unanimously.
President Pro Tem Valente moved to transfer $10,000.00 fran
Account No. 41-572-111-34620 (R&M Building & Grounds) to Account
No. 41-472-111-35223 (Fertilizer & Insecticides). The motion was
seconded by Vice Mayor Pierman and passed unanimously.

10-572-043-34932 (Recreation Special Events) to help sponsor a SOFTBALL TEAM
North Palm Beach-Lake Park Girls' softball team to attend the
State Tournament. The motion was seconded by President Pro Tem
Valente and passed unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURI~II~7ENT
meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
