A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPOINTING A RESIDENT MEMBER
TO THE GENERAL EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT BOARD; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 2- 151(a) of the Village Code of Ordinances provides that two members of
the General Employees Retirement Board ( "Board ") shall be Village residents selected by the
Village Council; and
WHEREAS, in 2014, the Village Council appointed Jim Peterson as a resident member of the
Board, and Mr. Peterson's term expires on September 27, 2016; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to reappoint Jim Peterson as a resident member of the
Board to serve an additional two -year term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing "whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby reappoints Jim Peterson as a resident member of the
Village's General Employees Retirement Board to serve for a term of two years commencing
September 27, 2016.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
