Mayor Valente called the Regular Session to order at 7:30 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council were present except Vice Mayor Marks
who was out of state. All members of the staff were present.
President Pro Tem Pierman gave the invocation and Mayor Valente INVOCATI~1 &
led the Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to the PLEDGE OF

The Minutes of Public Hearing on the proposed 1987-88 operating APPROVAL OF
budget, including the North Palm Beach Country Club, held MINUTES
Thursday, September 24, 1987 were approved as corrected; and the
Minutes of Regular Session held Thursday, September 24, 1987 were
approved as written.
President Pm Tem Pierman stated that the dedication of the Obert DEDICATION
Meeting Room at the North Palm Beach Library would take place on OF OBERT
' Monday, October 19, 1987 at 8:00 p.m. MEETING ROOM

Board held September 22, 1987
No action was taken by Council on the Country Club Advisory Board NO ACTION
recommendation that the hiring of new golf course personnel be TAKEN ON CC
delayed until a new Golf Course Superintendent is engaged. Since AD BD RECOM-
a Golf Course Superintendent has already been hired, this MENDATION
recommendation is moot.
Councilman Mundt moved that we accept the recommendation of the CC AD BD
Country Club Advisory Board that a committee be formed to revise RECQtiP7ENfnI01
' the Rules & Regulations for the North Palm Beach Country Club; ACCEPTED
said c~unittee to include Club Manager, Club Golf Professional,
Golf Course Superintendent, representatives from both pool and
tennis memberships, Presidents of the Mens' and Warrens' Golf
Associations, and a member "at-large". The motion was seconded
by Councilman Mays and passed unanimously.
President Pro Tem Pierman moved that Resolution No. 35-87 RES. 35-87
entitled: ADOPTED

TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR IN THE MILEAGE
be adopted. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mundt and
' passed unanimously.
Councilman Mundt moved that we transfer $2,520 from Account No. TRANSFER OF
10-519-061-49911 (Council Contingency) to Account No. FUNAS -PRE-
10-519-019-34620 (R & M Buildings & Grounds) for a preamplifier AMPLIFIER &
and third octave for the P. A. system in the Council Chambers. 3RD OCTAVE
The motion was seconded by Councilman Mays and passed
unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the AA70URNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
