Absent: Craig Mundt, Councilman
Mayor Valente called the Regular Session to order at 7:30 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council were present except Councilman Mundt
who was out of state. All members of the staff were present.
President Pro Tem Pierman gave the invocation and Councilman Mays INVOCATION &
led the Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to the PLEDGE OF
Flag. ALLEGIANCE
The Minutes of Regular Session held Thursday, June 25, 1987 were APPROVAL OF
approved as written. MINUTES

Vice Mayor Marks moved that the recommendation of the Country CC AD. BD.
Club Advisory Board that Elks Lodge No. 2069 be granted RECOMMENDATION
pe nnission to run their benefit golf tournament at the Club on ACCEPTED
October 11, 1987 be accepted. The motion was seconded by
Councilman Mays and passed unanimously.
Councilman Mays moved that Bill No. 512 entitled: BILL 512
PLACED ON
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, FIRST READING
AMENDING THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB BUDGET FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1986-87 BY APPROPRIATION TRANSFER FROM THE ROF FUND FOR
ADDITIONAL FENCING FOR PROTECTION OF THE 14TH TEE AT THE
NORTH PALM BEACH COIINTRY CLUB
be placed on first reading and read by title alone. The motion
was seconded by President Pro Tem Pierman and passed
' unanimously.
Vice Mayor Marks moved that Resolution No. 24-87 entitled: RES. 24-87
ADOPTED
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, NAMING THE MEETING ROOM OF THE NORTH PALM BEACH
LIBRARY IN HONOR OF ONE OF ITS FOUNDERS AND CONTINUED
SUPPORTERS
be adopted. The motion was seconded by President Pro Tem Pierman
and passed unanimously.
