VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

THURSDAY, MAY 8, 1986

Mayor Mundt called the Regular Session to order at 7:33 p.m. All ROLL CALL
members of the Council and the staff were present.
Councilman Marks gave the invocation and Vice Mayor Valente led INVOCATION &
the Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to the PLEDGE OF
Flag. ALLEGIANCE
The Minutes of Regular Session held Thursday, April 24, 1986 were APPROVAL OF

The following minutes stand as prepared: ACCEPTANCE OF

Advisory Board held April 15, 1986
Minutes of Library Advisory Board Meeting

The recommendation of the Country Club Advisory Board that the CC AD. BD.
Village Council address the issue of the gas. leak and the RECOMMENDATION
corresponding assumption of financial responsibility for expenses
relating to the gas leak at their next regularly scheduled
Council meeting died for lack of a motion.
Concerning the Library Board recommendation that a directional LIBRARY AD. BD.
sign for the Library be put on U. S. Highway 1, Councilman Marks RECOMMENDATION
moved that we approve the concept, send it to the Planning
Commission for their action, and then proceed through normal
channels. The motion was seconded by President Pro Tem Mays and
passed unanimously.
Vice Mayor Valente moved that Bill No. 482 entitled: BILL 482
PLACED ON
AN ORDINANCE OF THE UILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, SECOND READING
AMENDING THE NORTH PALM BEACH BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1985-86
BY APPROPRIATION TRANSFERS (OSBORNE PARKING LOT PAVING)
be placed on second reading and read by title alone. The motion
was seconded by Councilman Pierman and passed unanimously.
Vice Mayor Valente moved that Bill No. 482 be adopted as BILL 482
Ordinance No. 5-86. The motion was seconded by Councilman Marks ADOPTED AS
and passed unanimously. ORO. 5-86
Councilman Marks moved that Bill No. 483 entitled: BILL 483
PLACED ON
AN ORDINANCE OF THE UILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, FIRST READING
AMENDING THE NORTH PALM BEACH BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1985-86
BY APPROPRIATION TRANSFERS (PLAT 4 DRAINAGE)

be placed on first reading and read by title alone. The motion
was seconded by Vice Mayor Ualente and passed unanimously.
Councilman Marks moved that we appropriate $400.00 from Account APPROPRIATION OF
No. 31-572-888-66213 (Community Center) which will pay for Mr. ADDITIONAL $400
Robert Holley's $129.00 that he is over on the $1,500.00 FOR MR. HOLLEY
previously allocated, and the balance is to be spent for his
supervision on the application of the acoustical work at the
Community Center. The motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Valente
and passed 4-1, with Councilman Pierman opposed.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
