06-12-1986 VC REG-MMINUTES OF REGULAR SESSION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, JUNE 12, 1986 Present: Craig Mundt, Mayor Kenneth H. Mays, D.M.D., President Pro Tem Judy Pierman, Councilman Raymond J. Howland, Village Manager Herbert L. Gildan, Village Attorney Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk Absent: Tom Valente, Vice Mayor V. A. Marks, M.D., Councilman Mayor Mundt called the Regular Session to order at 7:35 p.m. All members of the Council were present except Vice Mayor Valente and Councilman Marks. All members of the staff were present. Councilman Pierman gave the invocation and Mayor Mundt led the Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. The following minutes were approved as written: Minutes of Public Hearing held Wednesday, May 21, 1986 Minutes of Regular Session held Thursday, May 22, 1986 The Council did not approve the Minutes of Special Session held ' Wednesday, May 21, 1986. The Village Clerk is to check the tape of the meeting and bring the minutes back to Council at the regular session of June 26, 1986. The Minutes of Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission held May 6, 1986 will be sent back to the Planning Commission for correction. Councilman Pierman moved that Bill No. 484 entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE NORTH PALM BEACH BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1985-86 BY APPROPRIATION TRANSFERS (FAIRWAY MOWER AND IRRIGATION FILTER) be placed on first reading and read by title alone. The motion was seconded by President Pro Tem Mays and passed unanimously. Councilman Pierman moved that we place a 1/4 page advertisement in the 90-page special convention issue of the FLORIDA MUNICIPAL RECORD in the amount of $131.00 to be expended from Account No. 10-511-O11-34910 (Legal Advertising}. The motion was seconded by President Pro Tem Mays and passed unanimously. Councilman Pierman stated that she would abstain from voting on ' the revised wet and dry storage leases at the Marina due to a conflict of interest. Since there was not a quorum to vote on this item, it will be brought back to Council at the regular session of June 26, 1986. Councilman Pierman moved that Council ratify and authorize the Mayor to sign the contract between the Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association and the Village of North Palm Beach. The motion was seconded by President Pro Tem Mays and passed unanimously.
