02-13-1986 VC REG-MMINUTES OF REGULAR SESSION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 1986 Present: Tom Valente, Mayor Harriet Nolan, President Pro Tem V. A. Marks, M. D., Councilman Craig Mundt, Councilman Raymond J. Howland, Village Manager Herbert L. Gildan, Village Attorney Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk Absent: Al Moore, Vice Mayor Mayor Valente called the Regular Session to order at 7:30 p.m. ROLL CALL All members of the Council were present except Vice Mayor Moore, who was out of town. All members of the staff were present. Mayor Valente gave the invocation and Councilman Marks led the INVOCATION & Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Minutes of Regular Session held Thursday, January 23, 1986 APPROVAL OF were approved as written. MINUTES The following minutes stand as corrected: ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Minutes of Recreation Advisory Board Meeting held January 14, 1986 Minutes of Regular Meeting of North Palm Beach ' Country Club Advisory Board held January 21, 1986 The following minutes stand as prepared: Minutes of General Employees Pension Soard Meeting held January 28, 1986 Minutes of Library Advisory Board Meeting held January 28, 1986 Councilman Marks moved that the recommendation of the Planning PLANNING COMM. Commission that an ordinance be prepared to require that backflow RECOMMENDATION preventors be installed below grade not be approved. The motion NOT APPROVED was seconded by President Pro Tem Nolan and passed unanimously. President Pro Tem Nolan moved that Resolution No. 4-86 entitled: RES. 4-86 ADOPTED A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE VILLAGE CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF THE GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON MARCH 11, 1986; NAMING THE TIME AND PLACE WHERE SUCH ELECTION SHALL BE HELD; APPOINTING THE ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION AND RUN-OFF ELECTION; DECLARING THE OFFICES TO BE FILLED AT SUCH ELECTION be adopted. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mundt and passed unanimously.
