THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 1986

Absent: Al Moore, Vice Mayor
Mayor Valente called the Regular Session to order at 7:30 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council were present except Vice Mayor Moore,
who was out of town. All members of the staff were present.
Mayor Valente gave the invocation and Councilman Marks led the INVOCATION &
Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. PLEDGE OF
ALLEGIANCE
The Minutes of Regular Session held Thursday, January 23, 1986 APPROVAL OF

Councilman Marks moved that the recommendation of the Planning PLANNING COMM.
Commission that an ordinance be prepared to require that backflow RECOMMENDATION
preventors be installed below grade not be approved. The motion NOT APPROVED
was seconded by President Pro Tem Nolan and passed unanimously.
President Pro Tem Nolan moved that Resolution No. 4-86 entitled: RES. 4-86
ADOPTED
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
DIRECTING THE VILLAGE CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF THE GENERAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD ON MARCH 11, 1986; NAMING THE TIME AND
PLACE WHERE SUCH ELECTION SHALL BE HELD; APPOINTING THE
ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION AND RUN-OFF
ELECTION; DECLARING THE OFFICES TO BE FILLED AT SUCH
ELECTION
be adopted. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mundt and
passed unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 8:02 p.m.
