THURSDAY, MAY 23, 1985
Present: Tom Valente, Mayor

Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk
Absent: Al Moore, Vice Mayor
Mayor Valente called the Regular Session to order at 7:30 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council were present except Vice Mayor Moore,
who is recovering from surgery.
Councilman Marks gave the invocation and Councilman Mundt led the INVOCATION &
Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. PLEDGE OF
ALLEGIANCE
The Minutes of Regular Session held Thursday, May 9, 1985 were APPROVAL OF
approved as written. MINUTES
The following minutes stand as prepared: ACCEPTANCE OF

Minutes of Recreation Advisory Board Meeting held
April 9, 1985
Councilman Marks moved that we accept the recommendtion of the REC AD. BD.
Recreation Advisory Board that the gift brochure for the RECOMMENDATION
Community Center be mailed with the Newsletter either in the late ACCEPTED
fall of 1985 or early winter of 1986. The motion was seconded by
President Pro Tem Nolan and passed unanimously.
Councilman Mundt moved that Bill No. 460 entitled: BILL 460
PLACED ON
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, FIRST READING
AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE BY ADDING THERETO THE DEFINITION
OF A SATELLITE TELEVISION ANTENNA, AND BY SETTING FORTH
RESTRICTIONS AS TO THE INSTALLATION OF SATELLITE DISH
ANTENNAS IN ZONING DISTRICTS R-1 AND R-2
be placed on first reading and read by title alone. The motion
was seconded by President Pro Tem Nolan and passed unanimously.
Councilman Mundt moved that Resolution No. 28-85 entitled: RES. 28-85
ADOPTED
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH
be adopted. The motion was seconded by Councilman Marks and
passed unanimously.

President Pro Tem Nolan moved that Resolution No. 29-85 RES. 29-85
entitled: ADOPTED
' A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE TRAVEL REGULATIONS OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH
be adopted. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mundt and
passed unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p. m.
