MINUTES OF SPECIAL SESSION
OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13, 1985

Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk
Mayor Marks called the Special Session to order at 7:00 p.m. All ROLL CALL
members of the Council, the Village Manager and the Village Clerk
were present.
The purpose of this meeting is to constitute the Council as the PURPOSE OF
official General Election Canvassing Board for the purpose of MEETING
canvassing the vote of March 12, 1985 in accordance with Section
10-25 of the Village Code.
The Council inspected the computer print out sheets containing COMPUTER PRINT
the election returns, which had been certified by Jackie OUTS INSPECTED
Winchester, Supervisor of Elections of Palm Beach County.
The total count of ballots cast in the General Election of March TOTAL COUNT
12, 1985, including absentee ballots, is 901. The results are as OF BALLOTS
follows: CAST
Villaoe Councilman. Group 2
Immanuel Grinn received 153 votes
Craig Mundt received 729 votes
Village Councilman, Group 4
V. A. Marks received 712 votes
Vice Mayor Moore moved that Resolution No. 8-85 entitled: RES. 8-85
ADOPTED
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD
ON MARCH 12, 1985
be adopted. The motion was seconded by Councilman Valente and
passed unanimously.
The Village Clerk administered the Oath of Office to Councilman OATHS OF
V. A. Marks and Councilman Craig Mundt, who had been re-elected. OFFICE
These oaths are in accordance with Section 2-41 of the Village ADMINISTERED
Code and shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
