04-11-1985 VC REG-MMINUTES OF REGULAR SESSION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, APRIL 71, 1985 Present: Tom Valente, Mayor Al Moore, Vice Mayor ' Harriet Nolan, President Pro Tem V. A. Marks, M. D., Councilman Craig Mundt, Councilman Raymond J. Howland, Village Manager Herbert L. Gildan, Village Attorney Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk Mayor Valente called the Regular Session to order at 7:30 p.m. All members of the Council and the staff were present. Mayor Valente gave the invocation and President Pro Tem Nolan led the Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. The Minutes of Regular Session held Thursday, March 28, 1985 were approved as corrected. Mayor Valente, on behalf of the Village, presented a Proclamation to the following persons: Mr. "Bud" Howell, Building Official, Boynton Beach President, Building Officials Association of Florida Mr. Bert Keehr, Deputy Building Official, Boynton Beach President, Building Officials Association of Palm Beach County Mr. Bob Palchanis, Building Official, Palm Beach County Director, District Eight, Building Officials Association of Florida proclaiming the week of April 14-20, 1985 as "North Palm Beach Building Safety Week." The following minutes stand as prepared: Minutes of the Police/Fire Pension Board Meeting held January 31, 1985 (condensed form) Minutes of the North Palm Beach Country Club Advisory Board Meeting held March 19, 1985 Minutes of the Library Advisory Board Meeting held March 26, 1985 Councilman Mundt moved that Resolution No. 12-85 entitled: ' A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE BID OF RADIOTRONICS, JUPITER, FLORIDA, FOR RADIO EQUIPMENT REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE IN THE AMOUNT OF $599.25 PER MONTH, GUARANTEED FOR TWELVE MONTHS, THE MONIES TO BE EXPENDED FROM VARIOUS ACCOUNTS ROLL CALL INVOCATION & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE APPROVAL OF MINUTES PROCLAMATION - "NPB BUILDING SAFETY WEEK" ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES RES. 12-85 ADOPTED be adopted. The motion was seconded by Councilman Marks and passed unanimously. Minutes of Regular Session Held Thursday, April 11, 1985 Page 2 Uice Mayor Moore moved that we approve the purchase of gymnasium APPROVAL FOR floor covering from Covermaster in the amount of $2,072.00 to be PURCHASE OF GYM expended from Account No. 31-572-888-66213 (Community Center). FLOOR COVERING The motion was seconded by President Pro Tem Nolan and passed ' unanimously. Councilman Marks moved that we approve the purchase of chicken APPROVAL FOR wire fencing and bucket rental (for No. 14 tee fencing) in the PURCHASE OF amount of $1,950.00 to be expended from the ROF Account, CHICKEN WIRE contingent upon passage of the budget ordinance for ROF FENCING & BUCKET expenditures. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mundt and RENTAL - N0. 14 passed unanimously.
