09-13-1984 VC REG-MMINUTES OF REGULAR SESSION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 1984 Present: Al Moore, Vice Mayor Harriet Nolan, President Pro Tem Craig Mundt, Councilman Tom Valente, Councilman ' Raymond J. Howland, Village Manager ' Herbert L. Gildan, Village Attorney Joan Bernola, Finance Director Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk Absent: V. A. Marks, M. D., Mayor Vice Mayor Moore called the Regular Session to order at 8:00 p.m. ROLL CALL All members of the Council were present except Mayor Marks who is out of town. All members of the staff were present. Councilman Valente gave the invocation and Vice Mayor Moore led INVOCATION & the Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to the PLEDGE OF Flag. ALLEGIANCE The Minutes of Regular Session held Thursday, August 23, 1984 APPROVAL OF were approved as written. MINUTES Vice Mayor Moore, on behalf of the Village, read and presented a PROCLAMATION - Proclamation, proclaiming the week of September 17 through 23 as "CONSTITUTION "Constitution Week", to Virginia Gravlin, Second Vice Regent of WEEK" the Seminole Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. ' The following minutes stand as prepared: ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Minutes of Regular Meeting of Planning Commission held August 7, 1984 Minutes of Recreation Advisory Board Meeting held August 14, 1984 Councilman Valente moved that Bill No. 450 entitled: BILL 450 PLACED ON AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, SECOND READING AMENDING THE NORTH PALM BEACH BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1983-84 BY APPROPRIATION TRANSFERS be placed on second reading and read by title alone. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mundt and passed unanimously. Councilman Valente moved that Bill No. 450 be adopted as Ordinance BILL 450 No. 18-84. The motion was seconded by President pro Tem Nolan ADOPTED AS and passed unanimously. ORD. 18-84 Bill No. 451, a proposed ordinance amending the North Palm Beach BILL 451 budget for fiscal year 1983-84 by appropriation transfers TABLED (Emergency Medical Services Headquarters) was removed from the ' agenda. It was determined by Council to drop this item and let the money go into the 1984-85 General Fund, to be drawn out at a later date, since there is no way we can encumber the money in the current fiscal year.
