MONDAY, OCTOBER 24, 1983

Mayor Valente called the Special Session to order at 7:30 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council and the staff were present.
The purpose of the Special Session is to authorize defense PURPOSE OF
of the law suit by Save the Winter Club, Inc., etc., et al. SPECIAL SESSION
President Pro Tem Mundt moved that the Village Council author- COUNCIL AUTHOR-
ize the Village Attorneys to defend the Village and the Village IZES VILLAGE
Council with regard to the law suit by Save the Winter Club, ATTORNEYS TO
Inc., Mrs. Babbitt for herself and-her two children, against DEFEND VILLAGE
the Village and the members of the Village Council, and & VILLAGE COUNCIL
proceed on an hourly basis. The motion-was seconded by RE LAW SUIT BY
Vice Mayor Marks and passed 4-1, with Councilman Moore SAVE THE WINTER
opposed. CLUB, ETC., ET AL
There being no further business to came before the Council, ADJOURNMENT
the meeting was adjourned at 7:43 p.m.
