WIDNESDAY, MARCH 9, 1983

Mayor Moore called the Special P4eeting to order at 7:03 p.m. ROLL CALL
A11 menbers of the Cotmcil were present except Vice Mayor
Brown.
The purpose of this meeting is to constitute the Council as PURPOSE OF
the official General Election Cazsvassing Board for the purpose MEETING
of canvassing the vote. of March 8, 1983 in accordance with
Section 10-25 of the Village Code.
The total. count of ballots cast in the General Election of TOTAL COUiVT
March 8, 1983, including absentee ballots, is 2,164. The OF BALLOTS
results are as follows: ~T
Village Counci]man, Group 2:
William H. Brown received 646 votes
Richard B. Kay received 247 votes
Craig Mundt received 1202 votes
Village Cotmcilman, Group 4:
V. A. Marks, M. D. received 1639 votes
Margaret Turney received 469 votes
On motion of Councilman Valente, seconded by President Pro RES. 9-83
Tem Nolan, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No. ADOPTID
9-83 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VTTSA(:F' COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FIARIDA, DECLARPTtG THE RESULTS OF THE GFNFRAT.
ELECTION HELD GN MARCH 8, 1983
was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No.
9-83.
The Village Clerk administered the Oath of Office to OATHS OF
Councilman Craig Mundt, who had been elected, and to OFFICE
Councilman Marks, who had been re-elected. These oaths ALhffNTSI1;ItID
are in accordance with Section 2-41 of the Village
Code, and shall be spread upon the minutes of the
Council.
' There being no further business to cane before the Council, ADJOURN[~ffiAT
on motion of Councilman Nfimdt, seconded by President Pro
Tem Pdolan, all present voting aye, the meeting was adjourned
at 7:12 p.m.
