Walker, Village Clerk Mayor Moore called the Regular Session to order at 7:33 p.m. ROLL CALL A11 members of the Council c,~ere present except Councilman. Valente, who arrired at 7:43 p.m. Cotmcilman Marks gave the inwcation anal Mayor Moore led the Cotmcil and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. On motion of President Pro Tem Nolan, seconded by Councilman Marks, all present wting aye, the Minutes of P,egular Session held Thursday, February 10, 1983 were approved as written. Mayor Ntoore, on behalf of the Village, presented a plaque to Eleanor Watt for being so very supportive during her husband's long anal demoted service to the ccmmin,; ty, On motion of President Pro Tem Nolan, seconded by Councilman. Valente, all present wting aye, the Minutes of Regular feting of Plannin~c Coumission held February 1, 1953 were accepted as prepared; and the Minutes of the Code Enforcement Board Meeting held February 7, 1983, and the Minutes of Regular Meeting of the North Palm Beach CoLmtry Club Advisory Board held February 18, 1983 were accepted as corrected. Vice Mayor Brown moved that the recommendation of the Country Club Advisory Board that arrangements be made for the starter to remain on duty as long as the Pro Shop is open and someone is authorized to collect greens fees be rejected. The untion was seconded by President Pro Tem Nolan. Councilman Marks moved to a¢end the xrotion as follows: That we keep it open (the starter shack) until 4:30 p.m. The m~tian died for lack of a second. President Pro Tem Nolan iroved to aaend the motion as follows: That we have a starter remain until 4:30 p.m. for a thirty day period and have good statistics kept. The motion was seconded by Councilman Marks and passed 3-2, with Mayor Nbore and Vice Mayor Brown opposed. Thereafter Council wted oxi the main untion, as amended, which passed unanimously. On motion of CouncilmAā€˛ Marks, seconded by Vice Mayor Brown, BILL 414 ADOPTID all present voting aye, Bi11 No. 414 was adopted as Ordinance AS ORD. 3-83 No. 3-83. On motion of President Pro Tem Nolan, seconded by Vice Mayor RES. 8-83 Brown., all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No. 8-83 ADOPTID entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE BID OF DIXIE USA, INC., HOUSTGN, TEXAS FOR ONE CARDIOPIRMONARY RESUSCITATOR 7N THE AMOU~]T OF $5,125.75, FRQ~I ACCOUNT N0. 23-526- 64.90 (MEDICAL EQUIPMENT) was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No. 8-83. President Pro Tem Nolan moved that we re uest the De artment REQUEST TO DER q p of Environmental Regulation to provide b3.ological and hydro- CN SANCTUARY graphic surveys on the Sanctuary Bay project for Village BAY PROJECT Counc%1 review and cram,Pnts. The motion was seconded by Councilman Marks and passed unanimously. Councilman Marks moved that we authorize the Mayor to write MAYOR Art'rT-inRT7Fn a letter urging Senator Lawton Chiles anal Senator Paula TO WRITE LETTER Hawkins to vote against Bi11 S-66, which would deregulate TO U. S. SENATORS cable television. The motion was seconded by Councilman RE BILL 5-66 - Valente and passed unanimously. DEREGULATION OF CABLE TV Vice Mayor Brown moved that we approve the Gift Catalog APPROVAL OF G]FT for the North Palm Beach CamnTM+~ty Center. The motion CATALOG FOR NPB was seconded by Camcilman Marks and passed iman;mnusly. CCrMi[JNITY CENTER Councilman Marks moved that we approve the purchase of APPROVAL OF four banquet tables fran Boynton Restaurant Supply, Inc. PURCHASE OF in the amount of $224.00, and fifty stack chairs fran Mara- TABLES & CHAIlLS - thon Restaurant & Bar Supply Company in the amount of $1,095.00 NPBCC to be expended from Account No. Z1.1-572-64.21 (Diiii.ng Roan Tables and Chairs). The motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Brawn and passed unanimously. ' President Pro T~ Nolan moved that we reinstitute the annual MOTION TO RE- advisory board dizmer.
