Walker, Village Clerk Absent: Al Moore, Mayor Vice Mayor Brown called the Regular Session to order at 7:30 p.m. ROLL CALL All members of the Council were present except Mayor Moore, caho is on vacation. All members of the staff were present. President Pro Ten Nolan moved that we authorize the Mayor to execute those certain agreements between the Village and Peter Finlayson, Golf Professional; Raymond Keldie, Tennis Professional; and Richard Cavanah, Pool Manager. The motion was seconded by Councilman Valente. and all present voted aye. Cotncilmmi Valente moved that we transfer $2,900 frcm Account No. 33-534-43.40 (Solid Waste Disposal} to Account No. 33- 534-52.18 (Auto Parts). The mAtion.uaas,seconded by President Pro Teu NoLmu and all present voted aye. Counci]masu Marks. moved that we approve the expenditure of $2,900 from Account No._33-534-52..18 (Auto Parts) for the. emergency repair of a 1975 Paclcer.Truck. The urotion was seconded by Councilman. Valente and all present voted aye. Counci]man Marks moved that u,,ze do not correct the Notice to Citizens of North Palm Beacta. (wiuich was contained in the September Newsletter concerning the note an the bottom of your `Notice of Proposed Property Taxes"},_ The motion died for lack of a second. President Pro Ten Nolan moved that the Notice to Citizens of North Palm Beach which uae received frcm the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser`s Office go in ouxr October News- letter. The motion was seconded by Councilman Valente for discussion. Councilman Valente amended the motion as follows: That we put a statement (in the October Newsletter) that the recent article contained in the. September Newsletter was a result of a mandate from the State Legislature, and was not a result of any action-taken on a local level by the Property Appraiser's Office: The motion was seconded by President Pro Ten NoL3xu and all present voted aye. Thereafter Council voted on the main motion, as amended, which. passed unanimouasly. There being no further business to come before the Council, on motion of Councilman Valente, seconded by President Pro Tem Nolan, all present voting aye, the meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m. BILL 406 ADOPTID AS ORD.
