11-23-1982 VC SP-M MINUTES OF SPEGTAL SESSION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD TUESDAY, N0VEMBER 23, I982 Z Present: Al Moore, Mayor W. H. Gildan, Village Attorney Mayor Moore called the Special. Session to order at 5:32 p.m. ROLL CALL All mgnbers of the Council were present except Councilman. Marks, A11 members of the staff were present except the Village Attorney, One of the main purposes of the meeting was to give us Mr. CCTM~ZVT'S RE Delacorte`s insight about what he thinks of the building. BUII,DfNG Mr. Delacorte stated that the general appearance of the build- ing as presently viewed is not too becaning. He did state, however, that if the Village is happy with it, fie is also. It was explained to Mr. Delacorte that there would be grass, trees, shrubbery, etc. planted, and he stated that he would look at the building again as it nears canpletion. During_the discussion, it was brought up that there had been MR. DELACORTE illness in Mr. Delacorte`s family, that his have had been STATID HE DID burglarized, and that he did not want either his or his NOT WANT THE -- wife`s name visible to the public. DECACORTE NAME VISIBLE TO THE PUBLIC Vice Mayor Brown moved that we hold up on putting any Wane NO NAME TO on the building at all, indefinitely. The motion was seconded BE PUT ON by Counci]man Valente and all present voted aye. BUTLDTNG, IN- DEFINITEL,Y President Pro Ten Nolan moved that we discuss the interior MOTION TO DIS- stucco on the walls of the building. The cation was seconded GUSS INTERIOR by Vice Mayor Brawn. STUCCO ON WALT.S Vice Mayor Brown. left the meeting at 6:0b p.m. and returned at 6:10 p.m. President Pro Ten Nolan moved to mend the motion as follows: MOTION AMENDID That we authorize the Mayor to write a letter to Yeckes and Lochner for a change order for the interior stucco gym walls, to be one-half inch cenent stucco with marble Crete finish in white, in an amount not to exceed $5,000. The motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Brown and all present voted aye.
