06-25-1981 VC REG-MMINUTES OF REGULAR SESSION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, JUNE 25, 1981 Present: V. A. Marks, M.D., Mayor -- Tom Valente, Vice Mayor W. H. Walker, Village Clerk Mayor Marks called the Regular Session to order at 7:30 p.m. ROLL CALL A11 members of the Council were present except Councilman Moore, who arrived at 7:35 p.m. Vice Mayor Valente gave the ixsvocation and Mayor Marks led INVOCATION & the Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to PLEDGE OF the Flag. ALLEGIANCE The Minutes of Regular Session held Thursday, June 11, 1981 APPROVAL OF stand as prepared. MQVUTES The Minutes of Regular Meeting of Recreation Advisory Board ACCEPTANCE OF held May 9, 1981 stand as prepared. MTSIUTES The Minutes of Regular Meeting of Planning Commission held June 2, 1981 stand as prepared. The Minutes of Regular Meeting of North Palm Beach Con- tractors Board held June 9, 1981 stand as prepared. The Mirnttes of North Palm Beach 25th Anniversary Committee held Jame 10, 1981 stand as prepared The Misrutes of Regular Meeting of North Palm Beach Country C1vb Advisory Board Meeting held Jvne 16, 1981 stand as corrected. President Pro Tem Brown unved that we accept the recommendation CC AD. BD. of the Country Club Advisory Board that a new administrative RECOPM~IDA rule be promulgated providing that any membership which was ACCEPTED being billed on a quarterly basis and is delinquent for 30 days, the full year's dues are then due and payable upon notice to the member, and that non-paytrent of that bill within 30 days after notice will result in the suspension of all privileges. The motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Valente and all present voted aye. Vice Mayor Valente moved that we accept the recommendation CC AD. BD. of the Country Club Advisory Board that the Council take RECON~IDATION necessary action to have an appropriate "BOAT SLOW DOWN" sign ACCEPTID placed on the south bank of the waterway near the second green of the course in the interest of protecting the north boundary of the second fairway, and in cooperation with the Yacht C1vb Drive Civic Association which is sponsoring the signs from the U. S. 1 bridge along the waterway to the south. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Nolan and all present voted aye. On motion of Councilwoman Nolan, seconded by Councilman RES. 45-81 Moore, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No. 45-81 ADOPTED entitled: Minutes of Regular Session ~^':~ Held Thursday, June 25, 1981 Page 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE Vn 7A(;F' COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, REPEALING RESOLUTION N0. 43-81 WELICH ACCEPTED THE BID OF MAC FABRICS, WEST PALM BEACH, FOR NPBCC DINfI~7G ROOM AND BANQUET ROOM DRAPES IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,959.05 FROM ACCOUNT N0. 63.1-572-62.11 (fCCTCHEN RENOVATIONS) was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No. 45-81. ' On motion of Councilwoman Nolan, seconded by President Pro Tem Brown, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No. 46-81 entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, REPEALING RESOLUTION N0. 4/+-81, WHICH ACCEPTID THE BID OF ANN'S TrR~RKSHOP, RIVIERA BEACH, FL0RII14, FOR NPBCC DINING ROOM AND BANQUET RO~I DRAPES IN THE AN~UNT OF $3,286.50 FR~4 ACCOUNT NO. 63.1-572-62.11 (KITCHEN RENOVATIONS) was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No. 46-81. Vice Mayor Valente moved that we approve the posting of "Neighborhood Crime Watch" signs. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Nolan and all present voted aye. Vice Mayor Valente moved that we charge off old tmcollectible accounts at the North Palm Beach Country Club. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Nolan anal all present voted aye. (A copy of these accounts is attached to the minutes of this meeting). ' Councilwoman Nolan moved that we approve the purchase of 29 filter element covers for the country cluab pool in the aununt of $2,552.00 to be expended from Account No. 62.4-572-63.10 (Pool Assessment - Pool Repairs). The motion was seconded by President Pro Tem Brown and all present voted aye.
