A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF THIRTEEN CISCO NETWORK SWITCHES FROM SHI
INTERNATIONAL CORP. PURSUANT TO PRICING ESTABLISHED BY
STATE CONTRACT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Administration is requesting the purchase of thirteen (13) Cisco network
switches; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration recommends the purchase of the Cisco network switches
from SHI International Corp. pursuant to pricing established in an existing State Contract; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of thirteen (13) Cisco network
switches at a total cost of $39,954.10 from SHI International Corp. pursuant to pricing
established by State Contract No. 43220000 - WSCA -I4 -ACS, with funds expended from
Account No. A5004 -35111 (Information Technology — Computer Supplies).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
