A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AN ADDITIONAL
BLANKET PURCHASE ORDER FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
WITH DIRECTPARTS INC. FOR CUSHMAN VEHICLE PARTS IN AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $7,500.00; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village's Purchasing Policies and Procedures authorize the use of blanket
purchase orders for materials purchased over a certain period of time not to exceed a single fiscal
year; and
WHEREAS, blanket purchase orders in excess of $10,000 require approval by the Village Council; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration is recommending approval of an additional blanket
purchase order with DirectParts Inc. for Cushman jitney automotive parts in the amount of
$7,500.00 (for a total expenditure of $24,000.00 for Fiscal Year 2016) to be purchased in accordance
with Village Purchasing Policies and Procedures; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the issuance of an additional blanket
purchase order to DirectParts Inc. in a total amount not to exceed $7,500.00, with funds
expended from Account No. A5522 -35218 (Vehicle Maintenance — Auto Parts & Supplies).
Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
