PUBLIC HEARINGS AND QUASI - JUDICIAL MATTERS PUBLIC HEARING AND 2ND READING OF ORDINANCE 2016 -01 — TEN YEAR WATER SUPPLY PLAN UPDATE Consider a motion to adopt and enact on second reading Ordinance 2016 -01 amending the Village's Comprehensive Plan to adopt a Ten Year Water Supply Facilities Work Plan Update. ACTION 2. 1ST READING OF ORDINANCE 2016 -06 — USE OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY Consider a motion to adopt on first reading Ordinance 2016 -06 amending Article II, "Excavations," of Chapter 24, "Streets, Sidewalks and Public Places," of the Village Code of Ordinances to establish administrative policies and procedures for the use of public rights -of -way. ACTION Regular Session Agenda, April 28, 2016 Page 2 of 2 D. CONSENT AGENDA The Consent Agenda is for the purpose of expediting issues of a routine or pro -forma nature. Councilmen may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would automatically convey that item to the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and vote. 1. Receive for file Minutes of the Recreation Advisory Board meeting held 4/12/16 Recommendation: "move forward with the Recreation Trails Grant project application process for $200,000 for the Community Center Fitness Trail Improvements." 3. Receive for file Minutes of the Golf Advisory Board meeting held 4/18/16 E. OTHER VILLAGE BUSINESS MATTERS RESOLUTION — APPOINTING MEMBERS TO VILLAGE BOARDS Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution appointing members to the Audit Committee, Construction Board of Adjustment and Appeals, Golf Advisory Board, Library Advisory Board, Planning Commission, Recreation Advisory Board, Waterways Board, and Zoning Board of Adjustment. ACTION 2. RESOLUTION — DELL BACKUP AND RECOVERY SYSTEM Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution approving the purchase of a Dell DL 4300 Backup and Recovery Appliance and related equipment and services from Dell Computers at a total cost of $12,902.46 and authorizing a budget amendment to fund the purchase. ACTION 3. RESOLUTION — SURPLUS TOW CARTS Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution declaring two Cushman gas utility vehicles as surplus property and authorizing their disposal in accordance with Village policies and procedures. ADJOURNMENT If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at the Village Council meeting, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.0105). This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council.
