A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
J NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING A BLANKET PURCHASE
ORDER FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT WITH TROPICAL
BODY SHOP, INC. FOR TRUCK BODY MAINTENANCE AND
RESTORATION SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $7,275.00;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village's Purchasing Policies and Procedures authorize the use of blanket
purchase orders for materials purchased over a certain period of time not to exceed a single fiscal
year; and
WHEREAS, blanket purchase orders in excess of $10,000 within a single fiscal year require
approval by the Village Council; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration is recommending approval of a blanket purchase order with
Tropical Body Shop, Inc. for heavy truck body maintenance and restoration services utilized by
the Public Works Department in the amount of $7,275.00 (for a total expenditure of $15,000 for
Fiscal Year 2016) to be purchased in accordance with the Village's Purchasing Policies and
Procedures; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the issuance of a blanket purchase order to
Tropical Body Shop, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $7,275.00 (for a total expenditure of
$15,000.00 for Fiscal Year 2016), with funds expended from Account No. A5522 -34610
(Vehicle Maintenance — R & M Automotive).
Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
