THURSDAY, JULY 27, 1978

Mayor Moore called the Regular Session to order at 7:30 ROLL CALL
p.m. All members of the Council were present.
Councilman Marks gave the invocation and Vice Mayor INVOCATION &
Kazimir led the Council and the public in the Pledge PLEDGE OF
of Allegiance to the Flag. ALLEGIANCE
On motion of Councilwoman Love, seconded by Vice Mayor APPROVAL OF
Kazimir, all present voting aye, the following minutes MINUTES
were approved as written:

Mayor Moore read and signed Proclamation on "Clown PROCLADIATION -
Week" - August 1-7, 1978. There were fcur members "CLOWN WEEK"
of "Clowns o£ the Palm Beaches" present at the meeting
to accept the Proclamation.
Councilman Marls moved that we take the temporary action TEMPORARY ACTION
necessary in the dining room of the North Palm Beach TO BE TAKEN
Country Club until we recoup our losses. The motion IN DINING ROOM
was seconded by Councilman Brown and all present voted OF NPBCC
aye.
Councilman Brown moved that the minutes of Regular .ACCEPTANCE OF
Meeting of North Palm Beach Country Club Advisory MINUTES
Board held June 20, 1978, and the minutes of Regvlar
Meeting of North Palm Beach Country Club Advisory
Board held July 18, 1979 be accepted by the Council.
The vote on the minutes o£ June 20th was 4-1, with
Councilman Marks opposed. The vote on the minutes
of July 18th was 5-0.
Concerning the recommendation of the Library Board LIBRARY BOARD
contained in the minutes of their meeting held RECOMMENDATION
June 15, 1978, Councilman Brown moved that we make
the childrenTS hours the same as the adult's .hours,
whatever they turn out to be. The motion was second-
ed by Vice Mayor Kazimir and all present voted aye.
On motion of Councilman Brown, seconded by Vice Mayor BSLL 3-06
Kazimir, all present voting aye, Bill No. 306 entitled: PLACED ON

Councilman Brown moved that we undertake a defense
of the Norman R. Gregory lawsuit. The motion was
seconded by Vice Mayor Kazimir and all present voted
aye.
There being no further business to come before the
Council, on motion of Councilwoman Love, seconded
by Vice Mayor Kazimir, all present voting aye, the
meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
