On motion of Councilman Brown, seconded by Vice Mayor RES. 19-78 Kazimir, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution ADOPTED No. 19-78 entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No. 19-78. Councilman Marks nominated Tom Andres for appointment T. ANDRES to the Recreation Advisory Board. The nomination was APPOINTED TO unanimous. REC. AD. BD. Councilwoman Love nominated Judith Colbath for appoint- J. COLBATH ' ment to the Recreation Advisory Board. Mayor Moore APPOINTED TO nominated Mike Amendola. Council then voted on the REC. AD. BD. nominations and the results are as follows: Judith Colbath received six votes and Mike Amendola re- ceived nine votes. Therefore, Judith Colbath was - appointed to the Recreation Advisory Board. Councilman Marks nominated Howard Floyd to the Planning H. FLOYD & J. Commission. The nomination was unanimous. Councilman HAMZY APPOINTED Brown nominated Joseph Hamzy to-the Planning Commission. TO PLANNING COMM. The nomination was unanimous. Councilman Marks nominated Peggy Enders as first alter- P. ENDERS APPOINT- nate on the Planning Commission. Councilman Brown ED 1ST ALTER- ' nominated John Eyler, Jr. Council then voted on the NATE ON PLANNING nominations and the results are as follows: Peggy CC{~I. Enders received seven votes and John Eyler received eight votes. Therefore, Peggy Enders was appointed as first alternate. Vice Mayor Kazimir nominated Douglas Trettien as D. TRETTIEN second alternate on the Planning Commission. Council- APPOINTED 2ND man Brown nominated John Eyler. Council then voted ALTERNATE ON on the nominations and the results are as follows: PLANNING COMM. Douglas Trettien received six votes and John Eyler received nine votes. Therefore, Douglas Trettien was appointed as second alternate. On motion of Councilman Brown, seconded by Council- woman Love, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No. 21F-78 entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE CONTRACT BO(1RD OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No. 24-78. Councilman Brown moved that we authorize the Mayor to sign a written statement to the State Auditor General pursuant to Chapter 10.500, Rules of the Auditor General. The motion coas seconded by Councilman Marks and all present voted aye. Councilman Marks moved that we authorize the Mayor to execute the Agreement between-Palm Beach County and the Village of North Palm Beach for traffic control at the intersection of Northlake Boulevard and the Entrance/ Exit to Twin City Mall and First American Bank. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Love and all present voted aye. Councilman Brown moved that we authorize the purchase of one golf ball picker for the North Palm Beach Country Club Driving Range from Gustafson Manufacturing Company, Inc. in the amount of $1,312.00, to be expended from Account No. 471-820.15. The motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Kazimir and all present voted aye. Councilman Marks moved that we approve the emergency purchase of two steel pressure tanks from Albatross Spply Company, one for No. 5 pump at the North Pa]m Beach Country Club in the amount of $1,721.51 to be expended from ROF Account No. 71-820.14, and one far No. 16 pump at the North Palm Beach Country Club in the amount of $2,004.82 to be expended as follows: 60% from ROF Account No. 71-820.14, 10% from General Fund Account No. 26-402 and 30% from General Fund Account No. 24-402, and confirm the action taken by the Village Manager £or this emergency purchase. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brown and all ' present voted aye. Councilman Brown moved that we authorize the Mayor to sign a letter concerning a negotiated settlement for liquidated damages with Pioneer Medical Corporation. The motion was seconded by Councilman Marks and all present voted aye. Councilman Marks moved that we approve the purchase of one radar gun in the amount of $1,795.00 to be expended from Account No. 51-285, Council Contingency.
