Mayor-Love called the Regular Session to order at 7:30
p.m. All members of the Council were present.
Vice Mayor-Marks gave the invocation and Councilman
Moore led the Council and the public in the Pledge
of Allegiance to the-Flag.
On motion of Councilman Moore, seconded by Vice Mayor
Marks, all present voting aye, the following minutes
were approved as written:

On motion of Councilman Kazimir, seconded by Councilman
Moore, all present voting aye, the Minutes of Regular
Meeting of Planning Commission held September 6, 1977
were accepted by the Council.
On motion of Vice Mayor Marks, seconded by Councilman
Kazimir, all present voting aye, the Minutes of North
Palm Beach Library Advisory Board Meeting held August
23, 1977 were accepted by the Council.
On motion of Councilman Kazimir, seconded by Councilman
Brown - 4 to 1, with Councilman Moore opposed - Bill
No. 279 entitled:

FLORIDA, LEVYING A TAX ON REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY
LOCATED WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF ---
NORTH PALM BEACH ON JANUARY 1, 1977; FIXING THE TOTAL
VALUATION THEREON AND THE TAX MILEAGE RATE THEREON
FOR SAID TAX YEAR; ADOPTING BUDGETS FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR OCTOBER 1, 1977 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1978, BOTH
INCLUSIVE, FOR THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH GENERAL
FUND, INCLUDING DEBT RETIREMENT AND FOR THE NORTH
PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB REVENUE FUND; AND REPEALING --
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE
was placed on second reading and read by title alone.

On motion of Councilman Brown, seconded by Councilman BILL 279
Kazimir - ~F to 1, with Councilman Moore opposed - ADOPTED AS
Bill No. 279 was adopted as Ordinance No. 18-77. ORD. 18-77
Councilman Moore moved that Item 4(d) under Resolutions ITEM MOVED FRQ~I
on the workshop agenda (Bid Award - General Liability, WORKSI-IOP AGENDA
Property and Workmen's Compensation Insurance) be placed TO REGULAR
on the regular session agenda at this time. The motion AGENDA
was seconded by Vice Mayor Marks and all present voted
aye.
Vice Mayor Marks moved that we award the bid for General INSURANCE BID
Liability, Property and Workmen's Compensation insurance__ AWARDED TO
to Sentry Insurance Company in the amount of $159,959.00 SENTRY INSURANCE
to be expended from the following accounts: CO.
08-270 Property Insurance (Village)
461-46.11 Property Insurance (Country Club)
08-271 General Liability (Village)
461.46.12 General Liability (Country Club)
08-272 Equipment Floater
OS-275 Insurance-False Arrest
08-278 Insurance Reserve
Various Workmen's Compensation

budget)

The motion was seconded by Councilman Brown and all
present voted aye.
There being no further business to come before the
ADJOURNMENT
Council, on motion of Vice Mayor Marks, seconded
by Councilman Kazimir, all present voting aye, the
meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m,
