09-01-1977 VC PH-MMINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 1977 Present: M. C. Love, Jr., Mayor Al C. Moore, President Pro Tem William H. Brown, Councilman Donald J. Kazimir, Councilman C. R. OtMeilia, Acting Village Manager Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk Absent: V. A. Marks, Vice Mayor Mayor Love called the Public Hearing to order at 7:10 ROLL CALL p.m. All members of the Council were present except Vice Mayor Marks. The purpose of this Public Hearing is to hear the comments PURPOSE OF of the public concerning the proposed use of Federal Revenue PUBLIC HEARING Sharing Entitlements for the fiscal year October 1, 1977 to September 30, 1978. Legal Notice of this Public Hearing was published in the LEGAL NOTICE Palm Beach Post on August 22, 1977 and posted according PUBLISHED to law. The only member of the public who was present was Thomas COMMENTS FROM R. Boyle, 100 Wettaw Lane, North Palm Beach. Mr. Boyle PUBLIC ' suggested that the Federal Revenue Sharing Funds be used as follows: Improving the appearance of the east side of the North Palm Beach Country Clvb Improving the tennis courts on the south side of the Country Club, such as backstops, new netting, painting, windbreaks and landscaping More parking spaces at Village Hall Build new shuffleboard courts at Lakeside Park (four to start with) Move back or cut down and paint the sign at the Driving Range Landscaping from the north tennis courts to the entrance way at the Country Club There being no further business to come before the Council,- ADJOURNMENT the Public Hearing was adjourned at 7:30 p.m. C; ~d'h ~"~°~ Minutes recorded by: Dolores R.
