Mayor Love called the Public Hearing to order at 7:25 ROLL CALL

The purpose of this Public Hearing is to hear the com- PURPOSE OF

framework for the planning and zoning process of the
Village .
Legal notice of this Public Hearing was published in the LEGAL NOTICE
Palm Beach Post on April 11, 1977 and posted according PUBLISHED
to law.
The Acting Village Manager read Bill No. 265 entitled: BILL 265
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, READ BY TITLE
ALONE
FLORIDA, DECLARING THE ELECTION OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH TO PROCEED UNDER THE PROVISIONS
OF CHAPTER 163, PART II, FLORIDA STATUTES, REGARDING
PLANNING, ZONING, BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT, BUILDING CODES,
SUBDIVISIONS, ETC; SETTING FORTH THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS
AND TERMS OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT, FEES FOR VARIANCES
SOUGHT BEFORE THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT, COMPOSITION OF
MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION, THEIR TERMS, AND
ADOPTING AS PART OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE VILLAGE THE
PRESENTLY EXISTING COMMUNITY APPEARANCE PLAN; AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
by title alone.
